Toyota Motors is famed for its ability to relentlessly improve operational performance. Simplify, simplify, simplify... A3 problem-solving technique can save company millions and millions of dollars using an 11" x 17" paper.

A3 Process can be used for almost any situation, and when used properly (i.e. all of the steps are followed and completed), the chances of success improve dramatically. A3 is a problem-solving approach which can be used in automotive, oil and gas, manufacturing and service industries, etc.

A3 is used to record the results of investigation and planning in a concise, two-page document (A3 Report) that facilitates knowledge sharing and collaboration. A3's serve as mechanisms for managers to mentor others in root cause analysis and scientific thinking.

Presenter Profile: Maribeth Reyes

Maribeth has over 20 years of experience in the Quality Assurance field in retail, steel, automotive, oil and gas industries. Maribeth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT - Philippines).

Maribeth has held various positions as an Operations Engineer, Senior Procedures Analyst, Consultant and QHSE Manager. She has helped various companies in establishing and improving processes and eliminating unnecessary cost in running their businesses.

Maribeth holds following certifications:
- Association of professional Engineers and GeoScientists of Alberta (APEGA member)
- Project Management Professional (APM - Queensland University)
- Certified Manager for Quality (ASQ-CMQOE)
- Certified Registered Safety Professional (BCSRP)
- Certified Auditor
