Event Title: Six Sigma

This session will give an overview of the Six Sigma DMAIC process. The process will be explained by walking through a six sigma project and some of the key learning. For example, having spent many years leading process improvement initiatives using qualitative methods, the speaker was unconvinced of the value of metrics that Six Sigma emphasizes. The project shared in this presentation helped the speaker understand the cost and benefit of a more quantitative approach to improvement. Attendees are encouraged to share their ideas on this topic too.
