Quality Paper Competition
Winner Announced!
Congratulations to Jeff Rosaine. His paper titled “Adding Value to Internal Audits” is the first place winner of our 2008/2009 Quality Paper competition.
We will be running the competition again next year. Please check back in September for more details.
Over the years ASQ Calgary has provided small scholarship awards to our members and local educational institutions. These awards were provided to the winner of a Quality Paper competition, the judges were the ASQ Calgary Executive at the time. This year we thought we could do something a little different. So we have created a Quality Paper competition that is not scholarship based. You don’t have to be in school in order to enter the competition.
The rules are simple:
- The paper must be on a Quality topic and needs to reflect a discussion on quality principle(s);
- The author must demonstrate an awareness and understanding of Quality practices, standards, etc;
- The paper must be a minimum of 500 words not including headings, references, etc and no longer than 1000 words;
- To receive the first prize you must be a paid up member of ASQ Calgary Section 0409;
- MSWord or PDF format, include your name, membership number, and full contact information.
Please submit via email to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) no later than Wednesday May 6th, 2009 @ 12:00pm.
The winner will be announced at our Spring Volunteer Recognition Dinner planned for June 3rd, 2009.
