ASQ Calgary Blog Competition
ASQ Calgary believes in fostering a thriving online Quality community. We believe that blogging is a valuable tool in our efforts to promote and advance quality concepts within Southern Alberta. In order to generate active participation in our ASQ Calgary blog, we have decided to sponsor a blog competition.
The rules are simple:
- Your blog entry must be related to a Quality topic and needs to reflect a topic of interest to Quality professionals
- The blog entry should be brief (200-400 words), concise, and geared to generate discussion from readers
- You will need to become a registered member of this site in order to post your entry
The competition will run every 3 months with winners being announced the following month.
Prizes:
- 1st prize: 25 ASQ Calgary Bucks
- Additional prizes: 3 prizes of 10 ASQ Calgary Bucks
Note: ASQ Calgary Bucks can be used towards ASQ Calgary events.
Additional rules and information:
All entries will be judged on content (75%) and style (25%).
Content includes:
- Applicability of the topic to Quality and Quality professionals
- Level of topic expertise displayed by the entrant
- The degree to which the blog entry adds value to the overall Quality body of knowledge
No ASQ Executive members are eligible to win the contest.
Judging will be conducted by a three member sub-committee of the ASQ Executive.
Note: ASQ Calgary reserves the right to publish the entries in newsletters. The author retains Intellectual Property and all other rights. As the entries will be posted in public spaces please ensure company confidential/sensitive information is not disclosed.
