ASQ Calgary Mission:

To be recognized in Southern Alberta as the “Quality Source”, a non‐profit association, that promotes and advances quality concepts through awareness, education, participation, and reliable member services.

Welcome to the start of another ASQ Calgary year. Once again monthly Quality Discussion Groups have been arranged. Check the events calendar and watch for notices on the subject and the speaker. These are a great way to learn about quality tools, techniques and real world solutions while meeting and networking with other quality professionals.

November 4 is the second Calgary quality conference. A full day of presentations, vendors and networking events. For those of you looking to find advantages in job hunting, one of the presenters will be from a recruitment agency with cutting edge information on job hunting.

The conference this year includes a Quality competition with presentations by three of the finalists. The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony. Make sure you take advantage of this opportunity and remember if you are currently unemployed contact ASQ Calgary at for a special rate.

Other events are planned for the year like another Quality Bus and will be updated in the events calendar and through e-mails or LinkedIn.

ASQ Calgary is here for our members so take advantage of the opportunities.

Thank You,
Robert Eady
